I live at 112 Harbor Crescent, just across the way from the yacht club.  We moved in two years ago, but don't have a boat yet - although we do have kayaks, and you may have seen us with our springer spaniel on the kayaks - he swims for a while and then he rides after he gets tired!

I did a lot of racing in undergrad and would love to get back into it again. I am orignally from AL and sailed a lot in the lakes there - but haven't sailed in the bay here yet - and realize that there are  a lot of differences.

mostly sailed smaller boats due to the lack of wind and waves on the lakes such as: flying scotts, catamarans, and even a thistle (it was beautiful).  I would say that my strong suits in sailing are that as a realitively small girl I am small and nimble enough to slip around and put up spinnakers and fix cleats etc without much fuss and I have a pretty good eye for the wind ahead and feel for making small adjustments.

would be interested in crewing any size boat, joy rides, races, or even something in the Opsail parades coming up in June. Luckily I have a very flexible work schedule so if someone wanted to go out during the week I could even do that a lot of the time with just a day's notice.

Since I am just around the corner from the club if anyone ever needs someone on the weekends I could be a good short notice crew member too.
